Hi! I’m Cristina Chacón, a Venezuelan Publicist, Photo Retoucher and Visual Designer.
My career started in marketing, advertising and sales, where I learned early about the power of image and visual communication. Since 2020, I’ve been focusing my career on photo retouching and visual design, with a particular passion for beauty, hair, makeup, fashion and luxury imagery.
For me, retouching is not about making an image perfect just for the sake of perfection. It’s about understanding the photographer’s vision and taking the image where it was meant to go, refining those details that can be difficult or impossible to control during a shoot.
I use AI-assisted tools only when they can make my workflow faster or more efficient, but the final image always goes through my eye, my technique and my creative judgment.
With my background in graphic design, marketing and visual communication, I can also work on key visuals, posters, campaigns and other creative pieces when the project calls for it.
I like to think of myself as the piece that helps bring the image you have in your head to life, the one that would otherwise take you hours in front of a screen to achieve.
I’m currently focused on collaborating with photographers, artists, brands and creative teams whose work I genuinely connect with.

Un gusto, soy Cristina Chacón, publicista, retocadora fotográfica y diseñadora gráfica Venezolana en Colombia.
Mi carrera comenzó en marketing, publicidad y ventas, donde descubrí el poder de la imagen y la comunicación visual. Desde 2020, me dedico al retoque fotográfico y diseño visual, con especial interés en moda, belleza y lujo.
Para mí, retocar no es buscar la perfección porque sí. Es entender la visión del fotógrafo y llevar la imagen a su máximo potencial, cuidando esos detalles que pueden ser difíciles o imposibles de controlar durante una sesión. Me gusta crear imágenes que se vean caras, pulidas e intencionales, pero que sigan sintiéndose reales.
También utilizo herramientas asistidas por IA sólo cuando pueden agilizar mi proceso, pero la imagen final siempre pasa por mi mirada, mi técnica y mi criterio creativo.
Mi experiencia en diseño gráfico, marketing y comunicación visual también me permite trabajar en campañas, portadas, key visuals y otras piezas creativas.
Me gusta verme como esa pieza que ayuda a darle vida a la imagen que tienes en mente, esa que de otro modo podría llevarte horas frente a una pantalla.
Actualmente, colaboro con fotógrafos, artistas, marcas y equipos creativos cuyo trabajo me inspira.
